Here is another pantry staple that you will use over and over again. This scratch-made Garlic Aioli Recipe will be the perfect accent to really add a little zing to burger night at home. Once you've added this to your cole slaw recipe you will never go back to using plain mayonnaise again. This is so simple and easy to whip up on a weeknight. The key is to totally emulsify the egg with the oil.

We also like this as a base to our buttermilk ranch vegetable dip, especially for fresh asparagus in the spring. When fall rolls around I like to roast up a few root veggies such as rutabagas, potatoes, and turnips then serve this flavorful Garlic Aioli Recipe as the perfect condiment on the side. This ensures that all the veggies get eaten! If you're feeling extra-fancy, you could even roast the garlic before adding it to your recipe.

Duck Egg Garlic Aioli Recipe Ingredients:

  • 4-8 cloves Bray's Berry Barn garlic

  • 2 Bray's Berry Barn pastured duck eggs (or 4 egg yolks - for a creamier sauce use yolks only)

  • 1 C. avocado or other mild, non-toxic seed oil

  • 1 C. extra virgin olive oil (due to the size of duck vs chicken eggs, you MAY need a bit more oil for emulsification)

  • 1/4 tsp paprika

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne powder

  • 1/2 tsp dijon mustard

  • real salt to taste

  • 2-4 T ACV or fresh lemon juice

When you are looking for creative ways to get in some of the amazing benefits of garlic into your family's diet, you will find that this Garlic Aioli Recipe is wonderful paired with grilled chicken, fish, or even in pasta salad. Make sure your eggs are at room temperature, grab your immersion blender, and get started! It's as easy as dumping all your ingredients in a vessel with tall sides (my go-to is a wide-mouth Mason jar), place your immersion blender completely down on the bottom, and blend. Once it starts to emulsify you can move the blender up and around more to incorporate all of the ingredients. This will keep 10 days to 2 weeks covered tightly and kept in the refrigerator - but who's planning to store it?
